Things didn't turn out as i expected.

Even though my exam is over, but the nightmare isn't over yet.

There is still the results.

The papers were difficult. What was thought to be popular to come out, didn't even make the slightest appearance. It was a total disaster for me.

I blame myself.

for not studying enough.

and now i have to see the disappointment in their eyes.

Please.

I really pray and hope.

that i can get through this.

even if the chances are really small.

The first question for Summative 2 today,

"What autocoid drug is used for abortifacient as well as to treat some peptic ulcer disease?"

Ah. Fuck. PHARMACOLOGY!

Shit.

I just glanced through my Pharmacology notes the night before.

I put misoprostol (which is the right answer) first,

and yet i fucking changed the answer at the last minute.

Life can be so wonderful.

I have to strive harder for my End Of Semester exam in two weeks time.

How am i going to finish two whole stacks of Semester 1 and 2 notes in two weeks?

It would be a miracle.

I don't want to resit!

An end-of-year holiday is all i have to motivate me to NOT FAIL.

Do pray for me.

Thank you.

My Foundation 2 Summative is just around the corner. 22 days more!

and i haven't started serious studying yet. I don't know what am i doing. The temptation of movies and TV dramas has gotten even stronger ever since i downloaded the PPStream, and what's more, the new seasons of House MD and Ghost Whisperer.

This is wrong. I should be studying 10 hours a day! I wonder if is it enough. There's way too much to revise. Microbiology (Bacteria. Viruses. Fungi. Parasites). Pathology. Immunology. Pharmacology. Community Medicine.

OMG! OMG! *pulls out a chunk of hair*

I've only started remembering bacteria names.

like Staphylococcus aureus to Corynebacterium diphtheriae?

oh dear.

STOP proscrastinating.

I shall study now.

Kambateh!

:)

Ei-Jean

Ei-Jean. My best best friend in the whole wide world is leaving for UK tonight at 12 a.m.

Therefore, this blog post is dedicated to her.

and

to our friendship for 11 years and still going strong.

We became friends when i was transferred from 3J to 4G in Lick Hung. We became fast and later best friends.

But being children, we used to argue and fight alot, once i remembered i even made her cry (HAHA! so bad of me).

but

Nothing could ever make our friendship stumble and tumble.

and when she got a handphone during our secondary school days (she was in Seafield and me in SS17).

we would message each other almost every day,

in which she always messages me first. LOL!

and we would gossip

talk about our problems, our complains

about guys

stuff that's going on

everything under the sky -lah

and now she's off to UK realizing her dreams and all!

I would really really really miss her damn alot!

now who am i going to message now?

and tell all my problems?

even though there's still emails and Facebook and MSN or Skype,

still the feeling is different.

as i write this, i just want to cry.

T.T

i don't know whether will you read this

but here i wish you all the best with my heart

and take very good care of yourself there

i want to see you unchanged when you're back here in Malaysia (as in your personality)

but just bring back a boyfriend!

and get more hotter!

and prettier!

i love you very very much!

=D

goodbye my dear friend!

I need some kind of booster energy to get through this pretty fucked up period.

I feel so screwed.

so fucked up.

everything is crumbling around me, and i am still trying to mend the pieces.

why can't my life just go back to normal?

why can't i just forget everything that has happened?

I just want to be appreciated by you.

I have an impulse to cut my hair short.

and leave all the burden behind.

I took the LRT at peak period today.

So, we were all packed like sardines in a can.

There was this cute little British boy with his parents and his aunt. they came in at the stop of Pasar Seni. The little boy's height is around my waist. Such cute British accent. I love it.

He complained he was hungry and wanted food, but his parents told him that the LRT does not permit food. Then he wanted to climb on his father's shoulders and complained it was too squashy and there were too many people around him. He kept moving around. But of course he couldn't sit on his father's shoulders. =.=" He asked which stop would they be going off, and because it was the last stop, he kept asking, "the next one? the next one? the next one?..." and it continued for a few more times, and his father had to keep saying no. LOL!

at the stop of KL Sentral, the little boy spotted a seat, and he shouted, "there's a seat!", and he squeezed through the people and he sat down.

Along the way, he kept talking and talking and talking. and he even talked to a Malay girl that was sitting right next to him.

So adorable plus the blond hair! Such a cutie.

They have something in common,

Both of them are blessed with a forever youthful, angelic face.

they possess awesome acting skills.

and i love them both.

H1N1 scare

H1N1 is such a troublemaker.

Yesterday before lecture, the orientation committee came solemnly and announced that there has been a member who has been diagnosed with H1N1 positive in one of the orientation groups. *Orientation for the new juniors M209*

Guess which group?

My group. Group 5. or Talk To The Hand. (i'll get on this later)

Unfortunately for me, i went with Group 5 for the outdoor treasure hunt on Saturday, and the H1N1 positive was present on that day as well.

2 of my friends went down with fever. *excluding the junior*

I remembered! I think we all shared the same bottle of water that day.

GREAT! I was thinking.

There was a little problem though. Nobody in my group informed the situation to me and my friend (who got sick). Because mainly the other OO's in my group didn't have my number, we don't really know each other. But a guy who i thought was quite a good friend didn't even bother to message me at all.

I contacted the group leader, and he came down with fever. Cannot blame him.

So, i messaged that so called "good friend".

And guess what, he was already in a hospital. Saving his own ass.

The reason he forgot to inform me?

"Everything's a mess." "I forgot... bla bla bla." Lame excuses.

I was really disappointed.

We are medical students aren't we? Soon to be doctors? The first step to do, contact tracing right? Contact everybody who has been involved! To him i'm like unimportant, forgettable even, and i was very pissed. I mean i don't want to be a risk to anybody right, especially my family, people have died from it. And there i was, sitting in the lecture hall, filled with 200 over students, and i had been exposed to the H1N1. Who knows, i might have been a super-spreader, and everyone could have contracted H1N1 from me.

How can they be that irresponsible and maybe on the verge of being that mean?

Am i not a friend?

It seems to me like i am some stupid stranger.

Damn him.

Anyway, after that stupid moodless day.

I found out today that it was just some bloody rumour.

Now, i am going to find out who is that stupid jerk,

and kill him.

Still, stuff like that could have easily happened to anyone of us.

Wait till i find out who is that stupid jerk...

My new laptop from Dell has finally arrived yesterday!

after 1 week and 2 days of waiting in agony.

=D

and it's awesome. just something i desire.

one thing to complain about though, is the flimsy optical drive. LOL! and some of my softwares are not compatible with Windows Vista! T.T

i was so happy yesterday!

apart from getting the laptop,

i finally got to know the truth about the 'thing'. and he was generous enough to explain to me personally.

i understand.

now it's not the right time and the correct moment.

I don't mind if i'm not that sociable. I am comfortable with who i am.

Who are you to judge me?

Cheers.

Sunday, August 9, 2009

hey guys! regarding my post below, thank you VERY VERY much for being concerned, i will be alright! it's just a matter of time. i will be fine! no worries! =D

i've been busy lately, guess this is it, the life of a medical student, a much hectic schedule than semester 1. yes, i am a little apprehensive. this is the semester to see whether i can survive. i'm being overwhelmed by trillions of bacteria, fungi and viruses (next stop, parasites! oh dear!) and plus wandering my mind off to things that i shouldn't even think of. i really need to bury myself in my studies to stop myself from thinking too much.

tomorrow's my first clinical skills session, history taking again! i hope i won't embarrass myself. the burning sensation i feel when my face turns into a tomato. LOL! i got to be confident and speak up and don't be shy and don't mumble and enunciate properly and understandingly. i seem robotic and stiff. =.=" please pray that everything will go smoothly tomorrow. =D

oh yeah, new batch of medicine coming in tomorrow as well! oooh! more hot guys to spy on. HAHAHA! i really do think a guy who wears formally with a tie is quite irresistable. even more when he's handsome and hot! XD

i think i might need to wear a mask when i take LRT back home. i see some people wearing it already. the situation is getting a tad bit serious. sigh.

Sunday, July 26, 2009

i think i have finally made up my mind. i won't bother about the 'thing' anymore. i don't think my heart is that great when i am just giving and there ain't a receiving end from the other party. sure, i would love to give more, it wouldn't hurt, would it? but sometimes when there are no feedback at all, i just feel lonely and pathetic. what in my right mind would i want to be in pain for? just for that stupid 'thing' ? it makes me feel worse thinking about it. terrible, deep down inside, an aching pain.

i know there ain't gonna be an ending. but my heart says, "go for it! it will happen one day if it is still there." but what if there isn't anything anymore, it will mean i am just a fool. i don't like to be rejected, simply because i feel like a loser. or i can't stand the feeling of being hurt again. i guess i'll have to close up my heart really tight from now on, to protect myself. i am not a rag doll. i am not someone who you can fool around for a while, and in a second, you leave me all alone. what does that even mean?

as i write this, my heart turns sour.

but i know, i will get rid of it.

time is all i need.

i will pick all my weeds and leave the flowers.

semester 2 timetable

I've just looked through my semester 2 timetable, and i'm abit freaked out. i don't understand at all. It looks more packed and dense than semester 1. i know it should be. New things that thwarts my inner soul. *scary* 12 weeks of semester 2 is short. *gulps*

There are:
(a) PBLs every single week, the first trigger starting with sore throat.
(b) Clinical skills session. we would start learning how to examine patients.
(c) More lab practicals.
(d) Microbiology! bacteria, virus, fungi stuff.
(e) Hospital postings!

the stupid problem is PBL. i hate it. and it's on the first day of school! i guess i have to start stepping out of my comfort zone and open my mouth more to speak. but it seems impossible, unbearable really, to speak more, like my mother always said, "got gold izit your mouth?" i don't think i'm knowledgeable compared to my peers. their passion is even more fiery than me! i think i would have to find out more about sore throat later. =/

i have to really start revising on my foundation 1 as well. start serious revising. if not i think i'll just die at the end of the year. i think i'm supposed to remember how a virus looks like for Microbiology. gwad. imagine that.

anyway, i think i had a rejuvenating holiday. which is coming to an end, sadly. holidays are never good for me, i feel SO restless! contradicting myself, it seems. off to a new start next semester!

=D

oh, i can't wait for UP and Julie and Julia. HAHA!

Harry Potter and The Half-Blood Prince

Finally i watched Harry Potter, the 6th movie today. There were so many people, as usual.

The movie was alright.

There's nothing much to do because this book is all about describing Voldemort's past, retrieving Professor Slughorn's memory, the journey through the cave to find the Horcrux, and of course Professor Dumbledore's death. which is a really sad one.

but i can't help but liking those cheesy, love struggle moments because it's just too funny. and relatable. LOL!

and i love Emma Watson. and Evanna Lynch who plays Luna Lovegood. HAHA!

makes me wanna read the whole book again. =D

now, i feel like watching Johnny Depp's Public Enemies.

Sunday, July 12, 2009

i seriously can't wait for Harry Potter and The Half-Blood Prince movie next week! it seems they finally made it right this time! ooh! >.< i hope i get to watch it with

anyway. im literally rusting at home. mushrooms are growing all over me. it's ridiculous. i have to start studying already. i wonder when are the new batch of Medicine people coming in. ooh! orientation! if everything goes well, i hope i'll get to be an orientation officer a.k.a OO. hehe! freshmen are like fresh meat! =D

aha! got to go pay my fees.

good night peeps!

"oh love, don't let me go. won't you take me where the street lights glow." - Life In Technicolor II - Coldplay.

ah. how i love the instrumental part for this song. it makes me shake my head in ecstasy.
anyway. holidays are boring. let's see. went out with my good friend Wei Yee to watch Transformers. and now she's already in Brisbane. all the best and take care my friend! did my community-orientated project last Saturday. *i seriously don't know how to handle kids* went for something that would not lead to something at all. *shakes head sadly* took my brother to watch Transformers again.

now i have this dizziness that won't go away. ughh.

Fish Leong :: 梁靜茹 :: 沒有如果 :: Mei You Ru Guo :: There's No If

I just LOVE Fish Leong's music videos. simply because it's so cute! she's cute! :D and her songs are so easy to relate with. Here's one, it's called 沒有如果 :: Mei You Ru Guo. It has Ethan Ruan in it! He's so handsome. *squeals*

I can so relate to the song right now.

repeat *
repeat **

如果如果如果如果如果
最后变成如果我也不能接受
错过错过错过错过错过
我比你更难过不会一错再错

repeat #

别怕太快乐(别怕太快乐)
别怕失去我

repeat *
repeat **
牵起我的手

repeat *
repeat **
above x3

There's No If

*If I said there were no ifs in loving me
And if you missed it, too late -- would you feel sad?
If if is used as an excuse
Isn't that a little pathetic?

**If I said there were no ifs in loving me
And if you really loved me you'd jump in without hesitation
What's there to think over, what's there to be afraid of?
Hurry up and take my hand

People say that the greatest distance in the world
Isn't between life and death,
It's when I stand in front of you yet you don't know that I love you
#I always say
If even in loving a person, humanity is restrained by itself
Then the end of the world's already arrived
There's no need to wait until the day the earth is destroyed

repeat *
repeat **

If, if, if, if, if
If it all ends in "if", I can't accept it
Miss, miss, miss, miss, miss
I'm even more miserable than you, I won't miss again and again

repeat #

Don't be afraid of being too happy (don't be afraid of being too happy)
Don't be afraid of losing me

repeat *
repeat **
Take my hand in yours

repeat *

20th Golden Melody Awards

I'm so disappointed because Fish Leong didn't win the Best Female Singer award again! Hopes she gets nominated again next year for the 6th time and take home the award! oh well. She's still the best! :D

Congratulations to Crowd Lu for winning the Best Newcomer award. *secretly, i was hoping for Xiao Jing Teng, he has such an awesome voice* but Crowd Lu, he's unique! i think i should go listen to his album.

and! OMG Jay Chou won the Best Male Singer award! awesome! after getting nominated for the thrillion-th time, i thought he was never gonna get it. :D

Hou Pei Chen is still as beautiful and cute as ever. *glees happily*

lalalalalala.

semester 1 done!

the freedom that i've yearned for has finally arrived!

goodbye anatomy and physiology! *waves real hard*

hello holidays! *hugs n kisses* :D

Summative exam was, well, mediocre and slanting towards the difficult side. If you don't study at all, you would end up as a goner. but what happens when you cramp everything that is twice as thick as your Oxford English dictionary within a week? Oh. You remember bits and pieces. The consequences of procrastination NeveR pays off. It ain't doing me good, i know. It's not good for everybody! :D

oh well. im still satisfied with the outcomings. no flowery A. but it ain't a C as well. :D I still remember cramming Chemistry just the day before the paper for my 1st Taylor exam. haha. Sleeping at 3 am and still getting a B.

but no more of it anymore. I MUST change my ways. if not i think i can't succeed my semester 2 end examinations where they'll be kicking people out! yikes!

one more thing.

RIP Michael Jackson.

i love Thriller and your music will always be remembered.

Monday, June 8, 2009

OMG! I need to study! damn, exam is creeping up. ughh.

>.<

Night At The Museum 2: Battle of The Smithsonian 'n' Monsters Vs Aliens

This is actually my second time watching Night At The Museum 2.

The 1st time i watched it online but the sounds and voices weren't that clear, so i went to 1 Utama to watch it again, and i couldn't miss Amy Adams on the big screen! =P

What can i say? IMO, the 1st Night At The Museum was funnier, maybe because it was a fresh genre, but its' plot wasn't that strong, still it had awesome characters.

The 2nd one, (Battle Of The Smithsonian) was hilarious coupled with a stronger and firmer plot. plus several new additions to the characters, it was entertaining and enjoyable. and with the addition of the cute-as-buttons Amy Adams (Amelia Earheart) - portrayed her character's spunky-ness really well, and Hank Azaria (Kah Mun Rah) as the evil guy - he was just too funny, . Both of them were just perfect!

i came home, and watched Monsters Vs Aliens. The movie's not that bad, funny at times, especially the monsters, B.O.B (Seth Rogen), The Missing Link (Will Arnett), Dr. Coakcroach, Ph. D (Hugh Laurie) and Insectosaurus (Conrad Vernon). I just cannot forget Hugh Laurie's evil mad scientist laugh (that we sometimes hear in House), it's just too funny. and his cute coakcroach eyes!!! =P entertaining movie as well.
