H1N1 is such a troublemaker.
Yesterday before lecture, the orientation committee came solemnly and announced that there has been a member who has been diagnosed with H1N1 positive in one of the orientation groups. *Orientation for the new juniors M209*
Guess which group?
My group. Group 5. or Talk To The Hand. (i'll get on this later)
Unfortunately for me, i went with Group 5 for the outdoor treasure hunt on Saturday, and the H1N1 positive was present on that day as well.
2 of my friends went down with fever. *excluding the junior*
I remembered! I think we all shared the same bottle of water that day.
GREAT! I was thinking.
There was a little problem though. Nobody in my group informed the situation to me and my friend (who got sick). Because mainly the other OO's in my group didn't have my number, we don't really know each other. But a guy who i thought was quite a good friend didn't even bother to message me at all.
I contacted the group leader, and he came down with fever. Cannot blame him.
So, i messaged that so called "good friend".
And guess what, he was already in a hospital. Saving his own ass.
The reason he forgot to inform me?
"Everything's a mess." "I forgot... bla bla bla." Lame excuses.
I was really disappointed.
We are medical students aren't we? Soon to be doctors? The first step to do, contact tracing right? Contact everybody who has been involved! To him i'm like unimportant, forgettable even, and i was very pissed. I mean i don't want to be a risk to anybody right, especially my family, people have died from it. And there i was, sitting in the lecture hall, filled with 200 over students, and i had been exposed to the H1N1. Who knows, i might have been a super-spreader, and everyone could have contracted H1N1 from me.
How can they be that irresponsible and maybe on the verge of being that mean?
Am i not a friend?
It seems to me like i am some stupid stranger.
Damn him.
Anyway, after that stupid moodless day.
I found out today that it was just some bloody rumour.
Now, i am going to find out who is that stupid jerk,
and kill him.
Still, stuff like that could have easily happened to anyone of us.
Wait till i find out who is that stupid jerk...
