My Journey to Beijing 2007 - 10/12/07

it was already at night when we reached Chengde. so far, i think the best food we ever had was in Chengde, that night, we got to eat different kind of meat dishes, like deer meet, wild chicken meat, and there was this really hot soup with meatballs in it. super! since the temperature in Chengde was like -6 to -7 degrees Celcius, it was super cold. haha.

.the nightview in Chengde.

It snowed the day before we arrvied at Chengde...
but the next early morning, it snowed again! usually snow only falls for 6 times in a year, so it was really a golden chance actually to see snow. and usually it wouldn't snow twice continuously, so we were really lucky. it was super cool man, the 2nd time im seeing snow. and it was about -15 degrees Celcius outside. my feet were so so numb i couldn't even feel them, especially when we were standing on a frozen lake. haha.

we went to the Summer Palace of Chengde, the place was really big and it occupies half of Chengde as it is a very small town. i wouldn't blab too much here, let the pictures do the talking, it was really beautiful. =)
