growing or ageing?

I haven't completed my PBL research, ahh, but what the heck -lah...

So, i had 2 Behavioural Sciences lectures on Thursday by the same lecturer, Dr. Galy.

before he started the lecture on "Adulthood and Ageing", he asked a question,

"How many of you people are happy when you're celebrating your birthday?"

[nobody dared to raise their hands]

"This is a weird batch. Where did they (IMU) get you from? Usually people are happy when they're celebrating their birthday..."

[everbody laughs]

[a yellow shirt guy raised his hand]

Then a fellow batchmate said, "today's my birthday and im happy..."

"Ok, common. So who's happy today? Of course im happy everyday..."

[several people put up their hands]

Dr. Galy continued, "Ok. Good, so all of you are happy celebrating your birthdays right?"

"Amazing! You guys are happy celebrating your DECAYING process!"

[roars of laughter]

"We spend 1/4 years of our life growing up, and 3/4 of our life ageing." - by somebody who i can't remember.

Why so pessimistic? We should be celebrating life! (=

*cheers* XD
