this bothered - bothers me

"................................................................."
"after all, there were still babies."
"babies can't talk. they can hardly move. a baby is not a rational, thinking creature."
"we made babies. and we used them."
"some of them we ate. baby flesh is tender and succulent."
"we flayed their skin and decorated ourselves in it. baby leather is soft and comfortable."
"some of them we tested. we taped open their eyes, dripped detergents and shampoos in, a drop at a time."
"we scarred them and scalded them. we burnt them. we clamped them and planted electrodes into their brains. we grafted, and we froze, and we irradiated."
"the babies breathed our smoke, and the babies' veins flowed with our medicines and drugs, until they stopped breathing or until their blood ceased to flow."
"............................................................."
"only...yesterday, all the babies were gone."

i decided to share with you guys a short story from a book called "Smoke and Mirrors" by Neil Gaiman, the above is actually an excerpt, im not supposed to write the whole story down right? XD. so, i tell you what i left out. it starts with,
"all the animals were gone, disappeared, and the humans didn't know what to do without the animals, and then they decided to use babies as a substitute for animals. until one day, the babies were all gone too, and the humans didn't know where they went, and they don't know what are they going to do without them, and they thought that they're think of something to overcome it."

"humans are smart. it's what makes us superior to the animals and the babies. we'll figure something out." this is the last sentence...

the story is gross and it kinda bothered me, and i kept thinking about it. wonder what you guys think? using babies? eating them? gwad, it makes me sick. but anyway, there's a moral story behind this story (in my opinion XD) that we should always appreciate the living things or things around us and everyone around you, and do not take them for granted. =)

talking about this book, it contains dark and mysterious stories, and even censored stuffs inside it, so well, yeah, be prepared if you wanna check this book out, believe me, i wasn't prepared. XD

and gwad kelly rockx my world, unbelievable *bwahahahaah*

oh man im so sorry i didn't warn u abt all these stuff in the book! -_-" yeah the book is pretty depressing. to me, the story only shows that in the midst of being "intelligent creatures", we humans dont see how stupid we really are. anyway, my favourite is the first wedding story (in the intro of the book), and the one about santa claus, and the red riding hood one, and and and... cant remember d. haaha. but i got SO depressed after reading the whole book, i had to immediately neutralise it by reading shopaholic. :p
