Funeral TVC

Please take a moment to watch this TV commercial from Singapore, but directed by our very own Yasmin Ahmad.

It's so touching i cried. Damn. =/

A Date... Sort of...

We went out together yesterday night and watched the Thai horror movie "Coming Soon".

It was damn scary, omg!

and he was so sweet. oops. no details here. we are still friends. just in case...

anyway, luckily Ei-Jean's sms came in time when the most scary part was on. =/

HAHAHAHA!

LRT Musings

Sitting the LRT everyday back home for 1 hour is tiring. *sigh*

but sometimes it's interesting to observe the people around you. LOL.

I was taking the LRT to IMU, to my horror, an unhygenic middle-aged man sitting opposite to me spitted on the damn floor, and you know what, he quickly stepped on his spit. Damn shit, i quickly looked around to see if anybody noticed, but nobody did. URGHHHH!!! yuck!

there was another time, a young man, he was standing next to where i was sitting, and holding the pole. i realised his palms were all sweaty, as he removed one of his hands from the pole, it was all wet! i was thinking, damn, later i get up, don't touch the wet place. =.=" but the bad thing was, his hand was moving around all over the pole. omg. lol.

Ohyes, there's a buzzer in the LRT indicating the doors would be closing. So, I was coming down from the escalator, and quickly, like lightning, i rushed into the LRT, or rather jumped into it just seconds before the doors closed. then, a few guys, they were like, "woah!!!" "bahaya!" "nanti tersempit". LOL!

i secretly wish that i could get a car. =/

My Stethoscope

I finally got my stethoscope!

the colour is awesome.

i feel so professional.

cheh!

=p

Ok. i think i better do serious studying this holidays. *sigh*

when words go haywire

Warning. This post is not meant to be an emo post or i-so-give-a-damn-shit-that-im-complaining. No no no. No such thing. It's a sharing session.

Some people's attitude are totally intolerable. They barely even know you, like they only observe and see the superficial surface (your skin and nothing deeper) and yet they can comment critically not to mention freely, or simply throwing petty insults to you. My gwad.

I seriously don't understand these people. Are they trying to be closer? or jerks? or just the fun of poking fun of people they barely know, delightfully satisfying their ego-ness at the reaction received?

Please, giving me petty teasings/insults does not work on me at all, and you don't even know me! All you would do is annoy me even more. You are not in the right mind to give me that, and no right at all. If you've known me from the start of the semester, and then yes, we are close. but a few lunch meetings, barely 20 words of conversation, suddenly all sorts of words start spewing out.

but yeah, i don't give a damn actually. my reaction would be ignore and avoid. thank you very much.

"don't you think it's expensive?" - guy pointing at my food.

"you've been tricked, that is expensive." - guy.

damn, what is wrong with you guys? (i've been asked this question a few times already btw)

this is KL! do you expect it to be like Penang? Seremban? Malacca? OMy fucking goodness! the food here is like that. and what's more, there are no shops around IMU, all you have is the cafeteria, and 3 stalls outside (1 Indian, 1 Malay, 1 chee cheong fun stall).

If everything is expensive, you might as well don't eat at all. or just go back to your hometown. (sorry, this is not an insult). but please DON'T bother me, it's none of your business. I have the money to eat (yes, that's right!), and my human rights. Period.

and btw, i live in Selangor. i have much much better sense. thank you.

and i can't stand that some of them tries to tease my friend everytime. gwad! what is the glory of doing that? damn. he thinks he's some kind of holy being eh. shit -lah.

and there's the chopsticks case.

"see the both of them, Chinese but don't know the proper way of holding chopsticks." - guy.

puh-lease -lah. can eat enough -lah, damn you. besides, i don't use chopsticks 3 meals a day.

i'm not angry at all. just can't stand it at times.

but everything's good here!

The Woman Who Shut Up Simon Cowell

Have you watched The Woman Who Shut Up Simon Cowell from Britain's Got Talent?

if you haven't go to Youtube now! NOW! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9lp0IWv8QZY

Everbody was laughing before she sang and she shut them up with her beautiful voice. Simon Cowell might have just showed his most genuine expression when she was singing.

Awesome. I was nearly moved to tears. I really hope she wins it.

Susan Boyle. She is truly truly amazing.

growing or ageing?

I haven't completed my PBL research, ahh, but what the heck -lah...

So, i had 2 Behavioural Sciences lectures on Thursday by the same lecturer, Dr. Galy.

before he started the lecture on "Adulthood and Ageing", he asked a question,

"How many of you people are happy when you're celebrating your birthday?"

[nobody dared to raise their hands]

"This is a weird batch. Where did they (IMU) get you from? Usually people are happy when they're celebrating their birthday..."

[everbody laughs]

[a yellow shirt guy raised his hand]

Then a fellow batchmate said, "today's my birthday and im happy..."

"Ok, common. So who's happy today? Of course im happy everyday..."

[several people put up their hands]

Dr. Galy continued, "Ok. Good, so all of you are happy celebrating your birthdays right?"

"Amazing! You guys are happy celebrating your DECAYING process!"

[roars of laughter]

"We spend 1/4 years of our life growing up, and 3/4 of our life ageing." - by somebody who i can't remember.

Why so pessimistic? We should be celebrating life! (=

*cheers* XD
